What Kit Digital is, in plain terms
It's a digital voucher that the Spanish government, through Acelera pyme, grants to SMEs and freelancers to pay for digitalisation services: a website, an online store, client management, a social media presence, cybersecurity and more. The amount depends on your company's number of employees and can reach €12,000. It's not a loan: it's funding you don't pay back.
What an authorised agent does
Only companies certified as authorised digitalisation agents can deliver Kit Digital services, and we are one. That means the grant is managed directly between us and the administration: you don't have to front the money out of your own pocket. You sign the agreement, we deliver the service and the voucher is deducted from what's justified.
How we manage it end to end
First we check you meet the requirements and help you get your digital certificate if you don't have one. Then we file the voucher application on the Acelera pyme portal, choose the solutions with you and implement them. And finally we submit the justification, which is where many get stuck. You barely sign a couple of things.
What you can spend the voucher on
The covered solutions range from a website with basic positioning or an online store to client management, a social media presence, electronic invoicing or cybersecurity. We look at your business and advise where it makes most sense to spend the voucher so it doesn't end up as decoration.
Frequently asked questions
How much funding am I entitled to?
It depends on your number of employees. Freelancers and the smallest micro-businesses usually get a smaller voucher, while companies of up to 249 employees can reach €12,000. In a first call we tell you the amount you're entitled to for your case.
Do I have to pay upfront?
No. Since we're an authorised agent, the funding is managed directly with the administration and deducted from the invoice. Apart from VAT and anything exceeding the voucher amount, you don't have to front the grant out of your own pocket.
Is the paperwork very complicated?
It is if you do it alone, especially the final justification. That's why we handle it: application, choice of solutions and justification on Acelera pyme. From you we need little more than your digital certificate and a couple of signatures.
